been in mines from the age of 5, when living in upperwood matlock bath, the mines there were working, eg. wapping, i can remember the men who was working them ( well some of them) the good old days !!!! visited lots of mines in u.k., greece, spain and republic of ireland. seen a lot of stuff, done a lot of stuff, still doing a lot of stuff. born 1941 guess my age !! ha ha.one of founder members of mining geopark in Bonmahon, southern ireland.still abseiling and stuff in mines altho hard work now, but hey what a way to get a buzz !!!!
