Dines states the mine had no adit, But Hamilton Jenkin disagrees and located the adit mouth on the south bank of the river (Camel) netween Lower Hamatethy and Tuckingmill.
Only 2 shafts on the sett north of St Breward, Engine Shaft and Whim or Sump shaft.
