Parish: ST.NEOTData courtesy of Roy Fellows and Roy MortonDescription by ICLOKThis small mine was in operation in the 1870's. The only recorded output seems to be 2T of tin 1875 and 1.5T from local attempts at reworking in the area circa 1916. There is a stamps engine house on the edge of the old sett on Northwood downs which has been tastefully restored and can be viewed from the road. Apart from the odd dump and trial pit scant else remains.
