Krisuvik (or Krysuvik) sulphur mines lie on the Reykjanes peninsula in Iceland. The sulphur precipitates in shallow layers adjacent to the numerous sulphur fumaroles hereabouts and has been sporadically mined since the 16th Century at least. Location is provisional. Photos to follow.
