Craslow (Caslow) And Bakers Vein Lead Mine (United Kingdom)

This entry includes the northwestern end of Bakers Vein, where it splits in to Pumps Scrin and Craslow (Caslow) Scrin/Vein.

Bakers Vein runs approximately northwest from the B5050 at Stoney Ley Wood where is joins Ditch Vein. Bakes Vein splits in to two just south of Alport Lane south of Harthill Hall Campsite. The west arm is shown on an old mine plan as Craslow Scrin, but on an old Barmasters map is shown as Caslow Vein. Pumps scrin is to the east and ranges more to the north.
(see map in Blythe Mines)

The grid reference is for the area of shaft at the split south of Alport Lane
