Crashpurse Lead Mine (United Kingdom)


Site of the installation of the first of several hydraulic engines draining the Alport mines, by Trevithick in 1805. Water was supplied from the adjacent Hollow dam, and the engine raised water to the level of Hillcarr Sough.
