Hi,
It seems that people did not understand standing charges so the electricity companies have decided that they should apply to everyone. This rather strange logic is a severe blow to the Newland Furnace Trust where our electricity bill will go from £5 a quarter to £30 a quarter before any increase in the price of electricity. I wonder if anyone else is in the same position or has found any answers.
