Well 2007 is nearly over, what were people's exploration highlights? For mine (no pun intended Blush) I'd have to list:

Oakeley BODOD crossing and watching JohnnyM doing the initial rigging (amazing to watch)

Coniston copper mine with Colonel Mustard and Miss Scarlet... the only time I've ever heard Tony whisper and announce that this bit "is a bit dodgy" Laugh

The Colonel and Miss Scarlet's big Nenthead through trip with Heb, Merddinemrys etc., fascinating and great fun

Thanks to everybody for these and many more trips, and here's to more in 2008 Smile

Errr Blush

***** because its there!

******** and the great escape on one visit and watching some very wet people emerging from a drainage adit on another

********* for all sorts of reasons, some fulfilled ambitions

******** just for geting in.

There seems to be a bit of a recurring theme with a lot of the places I visit, but those who were there no where I'm talking about! Some good company on some of these visits
Shocked

You will have to watch the space as the saying goes.
2 1/2 years of working almost every Sunday, I am becoming unglued at the seams.

Ah yes!

***** for being the nut that seemed uncrackable and lost, yet turned out to be be quite fascinating.

********* for Barney's spark of inspiration in finding the way in - and for the memories of the mud and the will-power to retreat when we'd first found it so as not to spoil it.

The CRTT several times, including SimonRL's half-hour joke which contained about a dozen 'child jokes'. In particular, the rigging CRTT which included the stumble on a foggy hillside and a brokenspectre (sp?). Then there were the two blokes we met in the car park who hid behind bright lights so nobody saw their faces!

The DP BB trip on the final Saturday and that moment of realisation that we'd lost Walrus.

And perhaps my favourite - moving mountains at Cwmorthin and the cunning trick of raising the level of the floor by a foot virtually instantaneously Roll Eyes
