I looked at the first one ... no evidence that they are not lying in a pile, dead, at the bottom.

Its apparently a sort of u rigged from 2 dynamic ropes. Dropping on a pulley allows you to do a kind of zip line and the dynamic ropes take the snatch out of the fall. Smile

Dream Jump is a patented technique of performing jumps from heights using a system of dynamic ropes for belaying.

The main components of this system are two dynamic ropes loosely hung between two structures, forming a letter ā€œUā€. Thanks to the use of this system, the free fall of each jump is extended to 90% of the height of the structure from which the jump is being made.

The prolonged free fall provides the jumper with multiple possibilities of aerial acrobatics, combined jumps with other jumpers, or jumping with various objects.

This System provides a high level of safety achieved by the doubling of all the elements of the system. The energy of the jump is dispersed to the multitude of elements in the system which ensures high comfort level of the jump and reduces minimum gravity forces acting on the jumper.

The inventor of Dream Jumping ā€“ Tomasz Zielinski made his first Dream Jump in Glogow in 1997 from the height of 7 meters and is currently still an active Dream Jumper. He holds the current height record of a Dream Jump. On 27 April 2010 he accomplished a jump from 215 meters which provide 165 meters of free fall. (see the jump).

Dream Jump was patented.
NR of Patent 203511.
Patent lasts from 25-07-2003

Aha!

One instruction manual: http://pubserv.uprp.pl/publicationserver/Temp/evr7hb0lic5r019i78l66lur00/PL203511B1.pdf

This invention relates to jumping from a height and a device for imple-ing how to jump from a height.
So far, for jumping from a height of used parachute. It is also known manner jumping from bridges circular method, consisting in the fact that a properly listed rzony one end of the rope is podczepiony to the bridge, while the other end of the rope is attached jumper. After the jump jumper for a moment and then falls vertically when the vertical drop reaches a length of rope, jumper pendulum moves under the bridge over the water.
The aim of the present invention is a method to jump from a height of-ment of any, tall buildings and the development of device structures to achieve this social sobu. This device will act as a training device, which allows the preparation of a-anhydrides to jumping with a parachute. Notably the ability to safely leave the training aircraft. The aim of the present invention is also to make the jumps craft for getting extreme experience in a controlled state of threat. Peaks with significant height is accompanied by specific emotional experience not reaching an axis-in other conditions.
The essence of the invention, the method consists in the fact that the jumper wearing a harness fastened to the item-Wan's moving, moving along underwriting lines, underwritten by the coach, is on the edge of a high building and then leave it. For a few moments, falling down under the law of gravity until the I-go critical point. When I reached the critical point, it continues to drop, however, in a controlled movement of the movable element until the second-giego critical point where the movable element and with it the knight moves in upward and returns to the II-inhibiting giego critical point.
The ends of the rope underwriting, which by the movable element is attached jumper is securely connected to the fixed points of high buildings. These objects can be towers, multi-office building, bridges, tall trees, chimneys, industrial, rock or other specially adapted ne tall buildings. The realization of how to jump from a height, according to the invention makes it possible to machine. This device provides a safety rope, which both ends are securely fastened to fixed points on the high buildings and the sliding part moving along this line. Part of the rifle may be sliding, eight, or other movable element.
The essence of the invention, the device consists in that the sliding element is a stroller. The truck is built with clamps, which in cross section is similar to the outline of the letter "Y". The view from the front of the truck has a polygonal outline, elongated at the bottom. The extension piece has an opening to which is attached a hook. This hook is designed to attach the harness player. Between the arms of clamps, top and bottom are mounted between crossbars and movable wheels. Moving truck wheels slipping on the underwriting line with the jumper. Jumper in a section falls vertically, according to the law of gravity. In this section trolley moves downward, and bear their own weight does not act as an underwriting. After reaching the I-go critical point, which is located in a place where a safety line clearly passes the vertical position to a bent-the arc, change the path of the truck until the second-giego critical point, located at the lowest point of underwriting rope. After reaching the second critical point-giego trolley moves towards the other end of the underwriting line, moving upward, and thus destroyed the speed. After reaching a certain height freely again returns it to the second-critical point. At this point, the stroke is completed. Takes off his jumper harness.
The method and apparatus of the invention allow the realization of dreams in a safe manner many of the sensations associated with lifting off the ground and observing the world from the air. The solution, according to the invention allows for the safe conduct of the evacuation of people who were on the roof and are in danger and escape the traditional way is impossible. Construc-tion trolley provides less of a sharply slowing airspeed than if it took place according to the laws of physics.
The invention is explained in the embodiment in the accompanying drawing in which Figure 1 - shows how to jump between two skyscrapers, Figure 2 - in-between the skyscraper and the column, Figure 3 - illustrates a stroller in the frontal view, Figure 4 - in the top view, and Figure 5 - a side view.
EN 203 511 B1 3
Way of jumping from a height, according to the solution lies in the fact that one dressed in a jumper harness attached to two movable element 3, a moving rope underwriting 4, underwritten by the coach, is on the edge of a high building and then leave it. For a few moments, falling down under the law of gravity until the I-go point of the critical fifth After reaching the I-5 critical point, it continues to drop, however, in a controlled movement of the movable element 3 until the second-giego critical point 6, where the movable element 3 and with it a jumper move upward and back to the II-giego critical point 6 brakes.
Apparatus for carrying out the process jumping from a height, according to the invention provides a safety rope 4 is attached to both ends of tall objects and which is the seventh movable trolley Trolley 7 is made up of clips 8, which in cross section has a similar outline to the letter "Y". The view from the front carriage 7 has the outline of a polygon, elongated at the bottom. The elongated part of the carriage 7 has an opening 9, which is attached a hook 10th Hook 10 is designed for attaching the harness two jumper. Between the arms of bracket 8, the top and bottom crossbars are mounted between 11 and removable casters 12th 7 mobile truck wheels 12 slides through the underwriting line 4 with the first parachutist Jumper on the section 13 falls vertically, according to the law of gravity. The carriage 7 episode 13 moves downward to pay its own weight and does not perform the role of underwriting. Upon reaching it I-5 critical point, which is located in a place where a safety rope 4 clearly passes the vertical position to a curved arc, the truck 7 amended motion track-ing down to II-6 giego critical point, located at the lowest point of underwriting line 4 . After reaching the second critical point-giego six trolley moves towards the other end of the underwriting line 4, heading for the top and thus destroyed the speed. After reaching a height of seven truck returns to the second critical point, it sixth
Claims
First Way of jumping from a height, wherein the jumper wearing a harness attached to a movable element, moving along underwriting lines, underwritten by the coach, is on the edge of a high building and then leave it for a few moments, falling down under the law of gravitation to to reach I-go and the critical point is reached and the critical point, it continues to drop, however, in a controlled movement of the movable element to reaching an axis-II-giego critical point, after which the movable element and with it the jumper are guided along the line towards the top and then return to the II-giego critical point, knocking the speed and braking.
Second Apparatus for carrying out the process jumping from a height, characterized in that it comprises a safety rope (4) firmly attached to both ends of tall objects and which is the sliding element, preferably in a wheelchair (7), which is built
clamps (8), having a cross-sectional outline similar to the letter "Y" in the view from the front outline of the polygon, elongated at the bottom, and in the extension piece has an opening (9) for attaching the hook (10) and between the arms of clamps (8 ), the top and bottom are fitted to the rod (11), measuring between them moving driving wheels (12).
