Slightly off topic, however, for anyone researching Family History and having Welsh ancestors, I saw this item of interest online today.

For anyone searching pre-1858 Wills online, the National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth has put digital images of pre-1858 Wills online FREE. Search can be by name, date, location or occcupation.

The website is:-

http://www.llgc.org.uk/index.php?id=487

Trust this information helps someone.

Often old wills if left by a miner are a source of interesting local history. When I was helping to write part of the Bonsall Book printed in 2006, I found old Wills that I was able to access a great help.
