Some underground ones remain, and I don't think there have ever been any photos of the new workings underground.
But If I ever post anymore photos will check first with A. as he posts on this site.

I've checked the database and there have been:

58 photo uploads to the Archive album

98 photo uploads to the User album

Only 2 photographs have been deleted, those being from the Archive album.

So the totals should be:

Archive Album: 56

User Album: 98

Which tallies with the albums.

Confused Crying

There are some nice underground shots, they are still there, and I remember being pleased to see them when they were uploaded. Maybe as Dolcoathguy says there have never been any photos of the new workings underground. Although it would be great to see them if they are permissable.

I thought I uploaded some underground ones last year, but my memory is starting to go!. However if there have been no requests to delete any, then I guess photos of the old workings are OK.

I went up there in the 80s, doing GPS work in the days when you had to set up the antenna at some hideous hour which you worked out from the ephemeris and let it chuckle away to itself for two hours or so... pretty impressive.

looking elsewhere on the same forum we find THIS.. that kibble looks familiar!

[web link]

lookng elsewhere on the same page leads to this.. that kibble looks familiar!

Tweak: Link edited as it was doing strange stuff - a '/' added Wink

28DL is always interesting as you never know what you're going to see. There are some talented photographers, motivated industrial historians and some chavs who are getting raaad init.

I can understand how it can irritate people and in a lot of cases is totally irresponsible/dangerous. The industrial section is very interesting.

I can see how someone climbing NCK headgear is not good for the image of the mine. Nice to see the photos though (in a non encourage them way).

All this is fine until they fall off, then they are encouraged by "no win no fee" companies that it was all the mining companies fault that there was not enough security around their site.
But I fear far worse things were done in the past, having attended a few "excitable" parties of CSM students who were friends at the time in the 1980's.

D.
I dread even to think what went on at CSM in the 1970's!
But I don't want to turn this thread into a CSM one, as it will fill pages! Roll Eyes
