Been to Keeldrum, there are the remains of an engine house, close to the main road. No underground workings accessible now (I think!). A few other trials dotted about. Also in Donegal, the quartz quarry on Muckish mountain is a must for a visit - old digger, tubs & crushers, all perched high on the mountain.
Get a copy of 'The Mines of Ireland' by Tony Oldham for more references, also 'Memoir of Localities of Minerals of Economic Importance and Metalliferous Mines in Ireland', rather catchy title, by G.A.J. Cole.

Cheers Heb, I've been meaning to get my hands on that book for some time now.
I must say the quarry on Muckish looks interesting, plus the nearby scenery of the 'Gaeiltacht'.
