And they do show a more responsible attitude than the YouTube clickbaiters, thats my take on it. I just thought it would be interesting to take part in some of the discussions. I have a bit of a side interest in 19th Cent military sites and some of their stuff has been very good. I remember an account of a boat trip to some remote fortified Scottish Island were they found 'decommissioned' RMLs. They also found complete ones rusting away on Drakes island. All interesting stuff. Fair reasoning - I just thought they preferred people who post LOTS of photos rather than just comment  The spammy reason sounds more likely.
