Not sure if these have been mentioned on AditNow before, but there's some impressive photos of the explosives store on Martin Prichard's website at https://www.fluidr.com/photos/[email protected]/sets/72157664604489155

Yes it is. But the URL reads as an email address to my system and opens MS Outlook. To use copy and paste I had to copy all of the post to notepad and selectively copy the URL.
If if anyone has difficulty, this workaround works.

Yes, I had to do something similar, copied the link into word, deleted the 'mail to' bit and then copy/pasted back into browser Surrender

edit: and yes...that is a LOT of bang! Shocked

Just stick the link in browser, highlight and edit out the mailto bit. (in Chrome) IP: 86.150.157.218 Edited: 02/08/2020 22:58:00 by Morlock

I love the single old type fire extinguisher in the bridge photo C9.
If that lot was burning I wouldn't want to hang around to use it!

Great Photos. I remember going to a talk by the photographer at Penrhyn camera club about how he took them. His name escapes me at the moment.

Slightly misleading text accompanying the photos though. It was Cordite (low explosive) stored at Croesor and although it may suit present day expectations to say it was distributed across the UK, a significant 'lot' was burned over the hill behind Bronaber. It wiped out the fish within Afon Cain from the location downstream for many years with the area of land they used still bare today.
