Posted: 25/04/2019 19:57:43 Reply | Quote I personally feel that posting videos is a good idea! However, I think the experience would be more informative if there was linkage to either the abandonment plan or another well known workings plan. Far too many seem to be going somewhere underground but not having any direction of where and why the trip is taking place If this linkage took place then the whole video would have a sense of direction, whearas, most of the ones I have seen do not have this at all. ![]() |

Posted: 25/04/2019 21:53:38 Reply | Quote Hello John I often think it would be nice to do that, however in many cases that would give the game away regarding the location of the site and possibly vulnerable artifacts etc. Whilst this is less of an issue on this site it might be undesirable in the wider youtube sense as discussed on the responsible exploring/sensitive sites thread. The vagueness in my videos is deliberate although I try to give general information about the nature of the mine and some idea what is going on etc. I feel this is more appropriate for a wider youtube audience rather than a 'this is exactly where we are on the survey' kind of approach - as nice as it would be to do that if other concerns weren't necessary to consider ![]() IP: 86.137.97.28 |

Posted: 26/04/2019 06:57:39 Reply | Quote Really sensitive sites, just put up a quick explanation stating that they are, and you will not be giving out the location. Most people are reasonable, and respect that : they can imagine it as saying "Yes, you are responsible, but this is for all the muppets out there who aren't" Oh, and I've no issues with caving videos either. But I can understand those that would have, I suppose. IP: 80.189.176.17 |

Yes, I think that's fair enough. Why not post them in the 'Pub' section, which is intended for non mine related stuff ![]() |
