There is hopefully a serious study into these mines starting this month. This will involve Prof David James, David Mason, DaveL, myself and possibly some others.
The kick off so speak was a posting on ME by a local gentleman who has interest in these mines and also permissions to explore underground by the various landowners. By pure chance a discussion has been started within the newsletter of the Welsh Mines Society, so these mines are very topical at the moment.
Now my frustration in this is that I am pretty sure that I have seen a photo of a section of the mines somewhere on here. It maybe in someone’s private album, I may have seen it late at night when the lager had set in, who knows.

Any help in any way appreciated.

Whilst I can't recall seeing anything on here, I'm sure that I saw some photos on ME a year or two back. Unfortunately I can't check this as I am having my eternal problem logging on to that site! IP: 109.158.22.25

There is a section on ME under a different mine heading, but unless I have dreamt it (makes a change from women) I seem to remember seeing a photo of an original somewhere.

Anyway, I am optimistic of some good stuff coming together for posting on here.
