Cleaned out my kit box yesterday and found amongst the accumlated dirt of a summer worth of trips two karabiners that aren't mine.

(click image to open full size image in new window)

I'm pretty sure they will be from one or more of the weekends we had this summer; Derbyshire, Wales or Nent.

Please let me know if either is yours!

As previously noted elsewhere, I've had a productive weekend and gained the following:

- one blue rope, person-dangling type
- one harness, person-dangling type
- one birds nest of thin rope, most certainly not person-dangling type
- one bag of six (6) helmet brackets for lamp mounting, standard type
- a quantity of dirt and dried mud, mostly attached to the above items

Thumbs Up

No takers yet

I shall borrow something more expensive next time Smile

Seriously, will hang onto them (not use them!) until somebody claims them

Right then, more kit that's magic-ed it's way into my possession.

Is anybody (I'm guessing from the Ratgoed weekend but could be wrong) missing a long (2.4) sling, blue and white striped with black and blue tape markings.

Lister / gt5952 - still have your karabiners to give back to you when I next see you Thumb Up
