I know Robert Plant and he owns the land up at Cwm Einion and goes in the mine sometimes., hence his awareness of the area. IP: 89.243.24.76

Well, that's surprised me somewhat! Shocked

I take it he's just been into Aberllefenni (?), not that he spends a lot of time in the mines of north Wales...

Aberllefenni is just up the road. Robert has a house up at Cwn Einion, its the large house with timber balcony that you pass on your left driving up. He is a very nice guy but takes alarm quickly when he knows that he has been recognised. If you meet him pretend you dont know who he is, he loves it.
He used to let me camp on his ground and brought his family down for a coffee in my tent!
This was years ago in the late 1980s, he probably would not recognise me now as I havent seen him since then. At one time he would go for a pint in Black Lion at Talybont, until it became known. A car load of groupies would arrive and he would be out the back door like a shot! I have this from my friend Simon Hughes of Lery Mills.
He definately has more than a passing interest in the mines, and may well even be a member of aditnow without any of us knowing, maybe he is reading this post!!!

He's safe from being recognised by me - I had to google him to find out who he is...

The cottage is called Bron yr Aur It was also the title of a track on the Physical Graffiti album (I think).

It was taken in the main chamber. The men are standing on the edge of another shaft like chamber (now flooded) What we now call the blue lagoon. The main chamber is the first chamber that u enter from the main adit by the road
