A few years ago now, around the time we were finishing the museum at Monkton Farleigh, we were invited (by Bob Scammel) to tag along with a caving group for a trip to Geevor. Anyway a flipping long drive and there we were, as luck would have it I remebered my trusty Yashica, but forgot my tripod so the pics were a bit shakey. Now I always assumed that lots of people took shots and that mine were rubbish (well I still think they're rubbish, but rare rubbish by the looks of things) but I suspect I maybe wrong so I've posted a few in the Geevor album.
Enjoy my dodgy camera holding ( I may have had a hangover at the time).

ps a great day it was thanks Bob.

I did the £10 'tourist special' down Victory Shaft in the cage about 1987, both my lady friend and I had to sign liability disclaimers.
I shall try to find the pictures if they are any good and upload them.
What really sticks in my craw is that if we could have stayed until the Thursday I could have got on a trip into Levant.
Something that I will regret not doing for the rest of life.

EDIT 15.37 hrs
Just had a quick look and turned a few up, may be more.Back later.

I have just uploaded what I had, some others did not 'come out', no digital cameras in those days.

I have a lot of good ones but they are someone elses copyright, so cannot upload , sorry.

Nice pics, I wish I'd taken my tripod and had a spare hour or two then I could have had some stunners.
Cheers

I went into Levant in my Cornish interlude, CSM students could be quite competitive about such things in those days.... IP: 217.43.114.173
