In the 1960s the BBC made a film in the yesterday's witness series about the Levant man engine disaster. There are snippets on the BBC website - but is there a full version anywhere? IP: 92.10.230.186

I think you have to pay for the film and there is no sound....

Many thanks for that.

It was the yesterdays witness film I was specifically interested in as, not only satisfying my interest - my father worked at Levant during the consolidation with Geevor, a colleague at work is related to one of the men who is interviewed - William Angwin.

I was hoping to kill two birds with one stone. Thumbs Up

As the centenary of the man engine disaster approaches, I have found the Yesterday's Witness program on youtube

An interesting and moving film. A timely reminder of the price paid when greed is king. IP: 31.185.47.152
