This Thursday we are to Wrysgan slate mine for a nice little explore.

If this takes your fancy, meet at the Cwmorthin car park around 18:15, here https://zoom.earth/#52.989962,-3.963518,17z,sat

Partial SRT kit suggested - there's a short abseil so harness & descender needed. Saves a long walk back. Laugh

Hope to see you all there Flowers

Wait for it....drum roll....dramatic pause.....

I'M IN !! see you all there Thumbs Up

We'll start the evening with a ticker-tape and confetti reception, I shall be carried up to the mine in a sedan chair, I'll have rose petals scattered in front of me as I wander regally around, someone an inch taller than me will walk ten paces in front of me to bump their head on any low spots thus pre-warning me of any potential danger to the Royal cranium and also give me an opportunity to remove my crown, we'll pause at the head of the pitch to toast my bravery with the finest champagne and then I'll round the evening off with a photo call and an autograph signing session. And if SimonRL turns up as well we shall expect you all to bow in awe at the glory of our brilliance and then throw yourselves off the nearest cliff as a sacrifice to the gods in honour of being allowed to stand in our presence for a few seconds.

Alternatively a polite "Good evening" and a firm handshake will suffice.
