The council have leased the site to the Great Western Colliery Preservation Trust who hope to open the site to the general public.

Hi, ive visited the old pit which has open days, now and then, took some pictures of winding engine which now runs on compressed air ( it was steam ), really worth a visit IP: 188.222.204.222
