Caving supplies in Buxton still sell them: http://www.caving-supplies.co.uk/cgi-bin/psProdDet.cgi/33125||oldham~@c~@b|60|user|1,0,0,1|70 , might be worth asking them if they have any second-hand ones?

I'd also suggest editing your post to remove or obfuscate your email unless you want a lot of spam coming your way...

They still appear on Ebay from time to time but before trying to charge check the distilled water level in the cells and that there is no corrosion on the terminal posts. IP: 94.196.129.131

Oldham batteries that have not been charged/discharged on a regular basis will more than likely be dead.

Why not convert them to run on NiMh or Lithium batteries

Also check the fuse in the top, if thats gone the cells wont charge regardless. If you can hear stuff rattling inside the cell casing that means material is coming away from the plates, the batterys junk.

You can use an ordinary battery charger. You can drop the current by inserting a resister ie a 12 v bulb.
