You may not have seen anything about it yet but in October this year I published Moses Kellow's autobiography. The title is 'Moses Kellow: The Autobiography of the Croesor Quarry Manager'. I have looked on the Adit Now website and have not found any mention of it and hence I have registered on your site so I can give you the information.
When 80 years of age and blind Moses Kellow dictated his autobiography (78000 words long!) and in 1945 it was published in 24 issues of the Quarry Managers' Journal. A Croesor Quarry enthusiast, Adrian Barrell, tracked down copies of the journal and he kindly gave me a digital file of this. Until now Kellow’s fascinating story has never been published in book form. You can order a copy with additional material in nine appendices from my website www.delfrynpublications.co.uk. The cost is £10 with postage free. Please note that a review of the book by David Linton will shortly be available in the Welsh Mines Society newsletter.
