It's a nice book, lots of interesting photos (some, I'm sure, taken by me!). Worth buying - I'd also recommend Ioan's first book, Rich Mountains Of Lead

From memory, I don't think the winches/wagons are accessible directly from an adit. The daylight adit (level 20??) Is the quickest way to them, but it's quite wet. Or you can go in level 10 and climb

So for anyone wondering in future, there are currently bolts and hangers in situ, and the deviation is likely very useful when your number 2 doesn't fail to clip it back on to the rope :guns::oops:
