Tomnadashan is worth a visit, especially if you are a Monty Python fan. Though be very careful as there are false floors and vertical shafts from the surface down to the workings. That is in your neck

Yeah lichens have been commonly used as pollution indicators in environmental science.

As for dating, I wouldn’t trust it and in environmental science background I have never come across it
