Visit To Snydale Hall Colliery

I dropped by and was made very welcome by the family who live there. The wages/office survives (although extended) along with the ine pond tip and a shaft marker. I was very fortunate to be allowed to copy pictures of the office as it was when first a dwelling, but also an aerial photo clearly showing the original shaft tops and the site pre alteration. Thanks go to the Howarths for their hospitality and access to the photos.
