About Trogladike

Bio

I have lived in South Africa for more than 30 years, but I spent my youth Caving & Exploring the Mines in and around Derbyshire. I was born and dragged up in Sheffield. I was active in the Derbyshire caving world from 1950 until 1958. I miss the hobby but now old age has caught me I can only reminisce of the great weekends and friends underground. Also living so far distant from the Peak district now makes it impossible. I was the guy that discoved Fatigue Pot in 1954 (situated at the bottom of Coombs Dale NGR 2268 7485). I published an articl about it in, 'The Speleologist' No.1 pp 85-91.
