View from the hill
These mines lie a little to the west of La Union, which, itself is a mass of mining remains in the outskirts. Here, a view looks towards some modern warehousing, whilst a large dried tailings dump takes up the mid ground. Smaller workings, denoted by the sheave wheels are dotted about.
