Old Esgairlle

This mine lies to the north east of the main site. There are underground workings accessible in the form of a rather loose open stope and an adit just above. These have been explored by members of the WMS. The stope lead to nothing and the upper adit lead to a collapse into workings below in a stoped area. The hole was crossed to a blind passage in feet of ochre.
