Western Pit (Upcast) Coal Colliery (United Kingdom)

The headgear and winding house of this mine are conserved as part of Britain Pit farm display at the Midland Railway Trusts Swanwick junction site.
Apparently this was operayed as a seperate pit but was later absorbed into Britain Colliery, the site of which lies very close by.
