Lying just north of Helston. Producing copper with some silver in 1820's. Then resumed working in 1850's through into the 1860's. Rich but small tin veins found at lower levels. All powered by water wheels up to 42' dia from the Cober river. (Collins & AJHK). Note that although silver said to be found in early days (Collins) the 6 confirmed minerals from the mine do not include a silver ore.
