The location of this mine is uncertain, in Farey survey it is noted as being 1 mile NE of Matlock in the 1st coal. A likely location for this mine is in the woods on the east side of the stream at approx SK31356100. Here there is evidence of waste slag & clinker mixed in with shale and some hillocks & hollows
