Kits (Upton, Burford, Whiteladies, Wichelate) Limestone Quarry (United Kingdom)

Quarry is first recalled in the manorial accounts of 1435 - 6 under the name Whiteladies, later known as Wichelate Quarry. By the early 17th century this quarry was being referred to as both Burford Quarry and Upton Quarry in various documents.
