Worked for Lead, Silver & Zinc
This Lead silver mine is 1 mile SE from Ivybridge and was worked from two shafts the deepest reaching 78 Fathoms. The remains today consist of an engine house in the wooded corner of a field. The engine was a 50" engine which pumped on Beresfords Shaft erected in 1855.
Recorded output was 284 Tons of Lead ore in 1855 and 1856.
