Cwmcorrin Silica Mine (United Kingdom)

Listed in Metalliferous Mines reports from 1896 3.5 miles from Glynneath (same as Lluest and Tongylfach), owned by J.B.Jenkins and Co, of Neath. Employment recorded as follows (underground / surface) 1896 15 - 5, 1898 17 - 5, 1899 16 - 4, 1900 16 - 4, and in 1908 13 - 13. The location of "Cwm Corrin" is a bit of a guess but is possibly what is now called "Cwm Gored", where there are mineworkings and which fits in nicely with the distance from Glynneath.
