Cwmbyrgwm Colliery Coal Mine (United Kingdom)

Thought to have been sunk circa 1840s by British Iron Co for Iron & Coal... This was a water balance pit and the surface gear was taken apart for restoration which never happened, just leaving the oval brick lined shaft and a dividing beam. Bits of the balance lie scattered on site...
