Cwm Bach (Llanwinio) Lead Mine (United Kingdom)

A small mine and spoil heap is located on the South bank of the river sien down water of Cwm Bach on a public footpath that starts at the old school.
The mine is at the rivers edge and is discharging water. Roughly twenty meters in is a passage wide winze of unknown depth. Beyond is a further forty odd meters of winding, mineral stained passage that terminates in a possible roof collapse. The actual mineral intended to be exploited is unknown.
