Creigiau Ladies (Bwlch-Y-Rhiw Mine) Lead Mine (United Kingdom)

Creigiau ladies is a wet level with no real sign of any mineral veins. After a hundred meters at a meandering heading of 130 degrees the mine stops. There is a quantity of water issuing from the roof at the end of the drive where the rock changes from Mudstone to Conglomerate. The drive stopped due to no minerals in the conglomerate or risk of roof failure. There is a small building foundation next to the dry stone lined portal entrance.
