This stone block and plate gangway commenced at Codnor Lower Park wharf trhen 1Mile SW to Codnor Lower Park Collieries, loop later added to connect Codnor Park Wharf. Nice obvious diagonal alignment in fields to East of Codnor Castle, with some stone blocks in situ. Further blocks can be found in situ at the Codnor Park Wharf site. When looked at on 30.08.11 it appears 3 blocks parallel to those seen have been dug up and removed leaving only 3 in a row and destroying a superb piece of in situ archaeology relating to the areas earliest transport systems... NGR given is for the wharf. There is also a nice section of embankment on the West side of the mainline in woodland.
