Castle (Castle Drift) Coal Colliery (United Kingdom)

Owned by Ipswitch Mines Ltd.
Opened to start the sinking of the drift circa 1984. There have been 4 recorded accidents at the mine from 1985, one in which a man Melvyn was killed on Good Friday 5 April 1985 when 3 tubs ran away down the drift.
The mine went into recievership in Febuary 1987.
