Cala De Las Conchas Iron Port (Spain)

This site lies next to the road from Villaricos - San Juan de los Terreros. Narrow gauge railways and a long inclined plane led over the hills from the mines at Barranca Jarosa to this facility for loading the ore onto boats. Built in the early years of the 20th century its use only lasted until 1912.
