The principal buildings of this colliery were located roughly on the site of the car park of the Victoria Care Home just north of the Corpus Christi RC church and extending along the current Parklands cul de sac. An air shaft was located close to the junction of Central Drive with Ormskirk Road and another shaft located at the east end of Knowsley View. IP: 92.251.232.74
