My attention was drawn to this book it appears to be information and research about the Branch Line , however, the line served the Iron Mines in the area. The authors have skillfully woven together the railway and mining interest of the Egremont and Cleator Moors , the Mining remains described and plotted on the maps . This is a well presented mainly colour Photographs and maps . Anyone interested in the Iron Ore Mining in this part of Cumbria will appreciate the information contained within this volume
