Hi all!

Does anyone have any information on the mine near Ruthwaite Climbing hut in Grisedale.
Specifically the entrance next to the beck.

Thanks from a newbie Smile

Yes, there are a few small adits at Ruthwaite. The longest is off the side of the Beck and runs for about 80 yards. There is so little mineralisation it is actually difficult to understand what they were looking for here or even why they pushed the adit by the Beck so far without any apparent encouraging result. There may be a lower adit (now run) which produced something though. IP: 81.111.101.171 Edited: 22/11/2019 21:58:19 by Hattlebags
