Hi Roy,
I read your review of the work carried out by yourself and your group on organising and reviewing of this event!
It was fascinating, and I can only hope that other organisers of these events will learn a lot from the practical ideas and thoughts you clearly took into account.
We done I think NAMHO is extremely fortunate in having someone like yourself who dedicated himself to this project.

An interesting review. From an attendees perspective I think the organisation of the field trips was OK. At least comparable to previous conferences.

Getting a bunch of independent minded eccentrics to the same spot at the same time on a remote hillside is, I guess never going to be the easiest of exercises.

I really liked the 5 day format, it made for a bit more of a relaxed event (again from an attendees viewpoint - maybe not for the organisers...).
