Does anyone out there know if any of the Cornish Pennies that are seen from time to time have been faked. These things are quite desirable and can as I've seen myself make a significant value at the local auctions. Any info would be much apprecWinkiated. Wink IP: 213.205.194.22

There are a number of fake ones about.
I recommend you get a copy of
Cornish Tokens by JA Williams (ISBN: 9780851530185)
Although sometimes covered in other books on tokens in general, for Cornish stuff, this is probably the best book on the subject.
