Hi guys I am looking for any mines in the south east of the uk. I am a diver and looking to explore any flooded mines in the south east of the uk. If any one has any info on any mines it would be appreciated.

Hi mate, I’m from the south east, the only mine I know of which is flooded in the southeast is off limits, there’s a well known flooded mine in the Peak District which I suspect you’ve already been in for training, other than that your looking at south and north wales and Cumbria, you’ll find people reluctant to give away locations of certain places until you get to know them and gain their trust, maybe look at doing some dry caving and mine exploration tag along on trips and you’ll soon find these little hidden gems Smile it’s a good way to understand these places and safely get your kit in and out too IP: 213.205.194.211

There could be flooded sections of the gypsum mines at Mountfield/Brightling, East Sussex but I think you would have little chance of being granted access. IP: 193.63.61.36
