Mid judging by those definitions, having said that most people just say north / south in which case I'd consider it north Laugh

If you go to the Minllyn page
https://www.aditnow.co.uk/Mines/Minllyn-Slate-Mine_1241/
and click on the "Discuss in Forum" button, you get the option of creating a new topic in the North Wales forum. So AN thinks it is in north Wales. YMMV. Smile

Confusingly, if you go to that page and look at the map on the right, it shows it in Mid Wales! Confused

I see that the same applies for Aberllefenni and Bryneglwys. Is there a problem with all the mines/quarries in southern Meirionnydd? Something for SimonRL to look at?

Mind you, as far as Welsh Government is concerned anything north of the Heads of the Valleys Road (A465) is "North Wales"! Laugh

Definitely MID WALES Paul.
A few years ago the Thursday Nighters might have tackled it on a Thursday evening, as we considered being home before the Shipping Forecast and 'Sailing By' to be "not really trying". These days we tire more easily so it is a little out of range Laugh
