Whilst walking the Cornwall coast path today (Rock to Port Isaac) I passed Gilson's Cove Mine where there are two open shafts. Has anyone dropped them? IP: 31.50.160.251

I have a feeling Pat and Ben did. One went into a sea cave, the other went into "stuff". I think Ben did a survey of the workings. IP: 185.216.48.186

Very interesting area. The seaward of the two holes isn't any good to penetrate but the inland one is deep and moist. It "pops" out into a sea cave below. It's a walk in at a spring low tide but involves a cheeky scramble. Happy holing

I've been meaning to have a fiddle through the estate records and figure out wazzon with the old stuff there, but CRO closed before I could lick my fingers.
